American Henry Ellenson (208-C-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Wonju DB and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 46.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 38 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Sono SG (#5, 27-24) 92-81. Wonju DB maintains the 4th position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wonju DB will need more victories to improve their 30-21 record. In the team's last game Ellenson had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Wonju DB's top player in his first season with the team. Marquette University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ellenson is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.2ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 52.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Turkish power forward Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995) of Seoul Samsung Thunders. Kanter impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 18 rebounds. Of course Samsung Thunders cruised to a 71-62 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Anyang (#2, 32-18). Despite this victory they still are dead at the bottom. 36 lost games are too many comparing to just fifteen victories Samsung Thunders managed to get this year. Kanter is a newcomer at Seoul Thunders and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#9). He also registered 8.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Egyptian Assem Marei (206-C-1992) of top-ranked Changwon LG Sakers. Marei showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 8 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Sakers, leading his team to a 80-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Daegu (#9, 15-36). LG Sakers confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 35 victories and 15 lost games. Marei has a great season in South Korea. After 48 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.4rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 5.3apg (6th best). He also has 2.1spg and a FGP of 52.8%.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
